Recipe: The Skin Booster Green Juice

This recipe was inspired by The Calling video (watch below) where I talked about beauty and what it means to me. Sometimes I think we totally underestimate how getting the right nutrition, sleep and water can yield amazing results!! Have you ever had that moment where you wake up from a good night's rest and your skin is glowing? (If you haven't try getting loads of sleep and water). Did you know that women need more sleep then men? It's just the way we are, so don't feel guilty for clocking in more sleep time!

Other then juices, drinking at least 2 litres of water a day seems to make a huge difference for my skin feeling moisturised (especially if you're like me and you like coffee! teehee), something called evening primerose oil also really helps to boost the skin and prevent that whole PMS break out thingy.

 

 

 

 

Skin Booster Green Juice

  • Kale or leafy greens like spinach
  • Pears
  • Apples
  • Tiny piece of ginger
  • Lemon juice
  • Cucumber

 

Just juice it!!
Leafy greens like spinach contain beta-carotene that can protect your skin against sun damage! Plus the vit E found in these greens combines with vit C to keep skin healthy! Ginger boosts circulation which is always good for every part of your skin to get a nice boost of oxygen while cucumber acts as an anti-inflammation agent.
